I live in the North of England and work full time from a home studio.

My work is mainly digital, using Photoshop, Illustrator and Painter, although I sketch characters on paper as I believe it allows a better 'hand' feel - and old habits...

My background is in a mix of technical illustration and fine art painting. I came into children's book and textbook illustration later in life.

i have illustrated for McGraw-Hill, Houghton Mifflin, Brainworx Studio, Soundprints and Tighe Publishing. I have an Alphabet of Sports Book being published in 2009.
